Pet Policy At Roseville Property Management

At Roseville Property Management, we believe that pets are an important part of people’s lives. We understand the bond between owners and their furry friends, which is why we welcome various breeds of cats and dogs, as well as other pets such as fish and hermit crabs. Our pet policy allows for a maximum of 2 pets per property, although some properties may have different regulations. It is important to include all pets on your rental application.

In order to ensure the comfort and safety of both our tenants and their pets, we require a non-refundable pet fee of $250 per pet. However, there may be exceptions where certain properties waive this fee. Please note that it is strictly against our pet policy to house any pets that are not listed on your lease agreement. This is to ensure that all tenants are aware and have given consent for the presence of pets in the property. We believe in open communication and transparency when it comes to our pet policy, so please be sure to discuss any specific concerns or questions with us before signing your lease agreement. At Roseville Property Management, we strive to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for both our human and furry residents. So why wait? Bring your beloved pets along and make one of our properties your new home today!

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Roseville Property Management Welcome Pets In Their Rental Properties?

As a pet owner, finding a rental property that allows pets can be challenging. Many landlords have strict rules against allowing animals on their properties due to potential damage and noise complaints. However, with the growing number of pet owners in the United States, more and more property management companies are starting to welcome pets in their rental properties.

Roseville Property Management is one such company that has recognized the benefits of allowing pets in their rental properties. They understand that for many people, pets are part of the family and are willing to make accommodations to ensure both tenants and their furry friends are happy.

Can I Have More Than 2 Pets In My Rental Property?

Having pets can bring joy and companionship to our lives, but it can also present a challenge for those who live in rental properties. Many landlords have strict rules when it comes to having pets in their rental units, often limiting the number of pets allowed or even prohibiting them altogether.

But what if you already have two beloved furry friends and are considering adding another one to your family? Can you legally have more than two pets in your rental property?

The answer to this question ultimately depends on the policies set by your landlord or property management company. Some may allow only one or two pets per unit, while others may be more lenient and allow multiple pets.

Are There Any Breeds Of Dogs That Are Not Allowed In Your Rental Properties?

Yes, there are certain breeds of dogs that may be restricted or not allowed in rental properties. This is often due to the liability and potential damage these breeds may cause.

Most commonly, landlords and property managers have strict policies against aggressive breeds such as Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Doberman Pinschers, and German Shepherds. These breeds are known for their strength and protective nature which can lead to unpredictable behavior if not properly trained and socialized.

Additionally, some rental properties may also have restrictions on large breed dogs or specific breeds that are deemed “aggressive” by insurance companies. This can vary depending on the location and type of property.

Do I Need To Pay A Pet Fee For My Service Animal?

If you have a service animal, you may be wondering if you need to pay a pet fee when staying at a hotel or renting an apartment. The short answer is no, you do not need to pay a pet fee for your service animal. This is because service animals are not considered pets and are protected by laws such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

According to the ADA, service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. These tasks can include guiding individuals who are blind, alerting individuals who are deaf, pulling wheelchairs, and even providing emotional support.

Are There Any Properties That Do Not Allow Pets?

Yes, there are some properties that do not allow pets. This can be due to a variety of reasons such as allergies, potential damage to the property, noise complaints from other tenants, and concerns about pet waste management.

Some landlords or property managers may also have specific policies in place that prohibit certain types of pets or breeds. This is often based on past experiences or local regulations.

However, it is important to note that these restrictions are not always set in stone. Some landlords may be open to negotiation if you can provide proof of a well-behaved and trained pet, offer an additional security deposit for potential damages, or agree to pay for any necessary clean-up fees.
